Gets Double Victory at BellSouth |
 |
TORRINGTON, Conn. — After
a grueling five-man playoff in temperamental weather, the
BellSouth Classic resulted in a win for Royal Precision’s
premium Rifle Project X shafts and Royal Grips. The victory
was the seventh PGA Tour win of the year for premium Rifle-branded
steel shafts — including five for Project X — and
the third win for Royal Grip. This makes Royal Precision’s
Rifle-branded shafts the leading steel shafts on the PGA
Tour in 2005!
“
When the competition is as tight as it was at the BellSouth,
a win is especially rewarding and we congratulate this
year’s champion who is enjoying great success playing
Rifle Project X shafts and Royal Sand Wrap grips,” says
John Lauchnor, president and CEO of Royal Precision. “Rifle
Project X continues to prove its exceptional consistency
and accuracy among the best players in the world, and we
are very pleased to see Project X once again demonstrate
why it is considered the world’s most advanced steel
shaft.”
To produce superior performance in each Rifle shaft, engineers
at Royal Precision incorporate four unique technologies
that include Frequency Coefficient Matching that perfectly
matches a set of clubs through electronic calibration;
Stepless Design Technology that eliminates energy-robbing ‘steps’ found
on most other steel shafts, providing greater accuracy
and a smooth, yet solid feel at impact; Patented Internal ‘Rifling’ that
transfers energy more efficiently than other steel shafts,
reduces vibration and increases distance; and advanced
Flighted Technology that produces variable ball trajectories
for different clubs within a single set.
Royal Precision’s premium shafts and grips have won
every major U.S. championship, every major on the Senior
and LPGA Tours, Player of the Year titles on every tour,
multiple Vardon Trophies and nine of the last 10 Orders
of Merit.
For 2005, Rifle-branded steel shafts are celebrating a
decade of dominance among premium steel shafts. The shaft
brand that won more Majors on the PGA Tour in 2004 than
any other steel shaft is celebrating its 10th anniversary
with marketing initiatives and special offers held throughout
the year at distributors worldwide. |
