Land Victory at Harbour Town |

TORRINGTON, Conn. — Earning
their eighth win of the 2005 PGA Tour season, premium Rifle
steel shafts claimed victory this weekend at the MCI Heritage
held at Hilton Head Island, S.C. This year’s Harbour
Town champion played Rifle Flighted steel shafts in his
irons and received unbeatable performance that scored No.
1 in Greens-in-Regulation, No. 1 in Birdies and $936,000
in winnings.
"
Premium Rifle shafts have won more tournaments this year
on the PGA Tour than any other steel shaft, and we’re
very excited to celebrate our Rifle 10th anniversary year
with such a strong string of victories,” says John
Lauchnor, president and CEO of Royal Precision. "Rifle-branded
shafts offer incredibly sophisticated engineering which
combines multiple technologies to greatly enhance energy
transfer to the ball at impact and to generate optimum
trajectories with stability and control.”
Lauchnor explains that Rifle steel shafts are often considered
the world’s most advanced steel shaft because the
shaft design incorporates four unique technologies which
have proven to provide unparalleled performance and consistency.
Only Rifle steel shafts offer: Frequency Matching that
perfectly matches a set of clubs through electronic calibration;
Stepless Design Technology that eliminates the energy-robbing ‘steps’ found
on most other steel shafts, and provides greater accuracy
and a smooth, yet solid, feel at impact; Patented Internal ‘Rifling’ that
transfers energy more efficiently, reduces vibration and
increases distance; and advanced Flighted Technology that
produces variable ball trajectories for different clubs
within a single set.
To date on the 2005 PGA Tour, premium Rifle steel shafts
have won the Mercedes Championships, FBR Open, AT&T
Pebble Beach National Pro-AM, Nissan Open, WGC-Accenture
Match Play, Chrysler Classic of Tucson, BellSouth Classic
and the MCI Heritage. |
