TORRINGTON, Conn. — Premium
Rifle® steel shafts outperformed the competition and
won this weekend’s Barclays Classic at the Westchester
Country Club in Rye, N.Y. Following up his earlier victory
at the Honda Classic, this year’s Irish-born champion
played Rifle Flighted steel shafts in his irons which delivered
the tournament’s No. 1 ranking for Greens-in-Regulation
as well as a dramatic victory.
“
For more than 80 years, Royal Precision has produced the
most technologically advanced steel shafts in golf, and
the Rifle Flighted design is another example of why Rifle
is considered the first choice in premium steel shafts,” says
John Lauchnor, president and CEO of Royal Precision. “Rifle
Flighted steel shafts incorporate a revolutionary concept
that was developed with our exclusive Flex Distribution
Technology™ and perfected on the PGA and European
Tours. Like all Rifle shafts, Rifle Flighted features a
stepless design, but they are also engineered with different
flex points to manipulate ball flight and produce variable
ball trajectories for different clubs within a single set.”
Rifle Flighted shafts have already claimed multiple wins
this year with custom ball flight engineering that is truly
unique, especially when compared to steel shafts still
using 30-year-old stepped designs. Long irons assembled
with Rifle Flighted shafts, for example, possess a lower
kick point for higher ball flight, easier launch and greater
distance, while short irons offer a higher kick point for
a lower trajectory, greater accuracy and control. Rifle
Flighted shafts are available in flexes 4.0, 4.5, 5.0,
5.5, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0.
In addition to Flighted technology, all Rifle-branded steel
shafts incorporate three other distinct technologies to
make them the world’s most advanced steel shafts.
Only Rifle steel shafts offer: Frequency Matching that
perfectly matches a set of clubs through electronic calibration;
Stepless Design Technology that eliminates the energy-robbing ‘steps’ found
on most other steel shafts, and provides greater accuracy
and a smooth, yet solid, feel at impact; Patented Internal ‘Rifling’ that
transfers energy more efficiently than other steel shafts,
reduces vibration and increases distance; as well as the
Flighted Technology. |
