TORRINGTON, Conn. — Premium
Rifle® steel shafts earned their 12th win of the 2005
European Tour by claiming victory at this week’s
BMW International Open at Golfclub München Nord-Eichenried.
This year’s English-born champion played Rifle Flighted
steel shafts in his irons and accumulated eight birdies
in the final round to close with a seven-under par 65.
The win was his second on the European Tour.
“Consistency, accuracy and performance are the main
reasons why three of the world’s Top Five players
prefer Rifle and why Rifle-branded steel shafts are the
No. 1
stepless steel shaft in golf today,” says John Lauchnor,
president and CEO of Royal Precision, which designs and
manufactures Rifle shafts. “Winning the BMW International
Open was another great win for Rifle Flighted, a line of
premium shafts which has been particularly successful on
the PGA and European Tours. All Rifle steel shafts incorporate
Royal Precision’s patented internal ‘rifling’ design
and ‘Stepless Technology,’ but the Rifle Flighted
shafts also feature an exaggerated change in kick point
within the club set to manipulate different ball trajectories.“
Only Rifle-branded steel shafts incorporate four different
technologies to enhance performance: Frequency Matching
that perfectly matches a set of clubs through electronic
calibration; Stepless Design Technology that eliminates
energy-robbing ‘steps’ found on most other
steel shafts, providing greater accuracy and a smooth,
yet solid, feel at impact; Patented Internal ‘Rifling’ that
transfers energy more efficiently than other steel shafts,
reduces vibration and increases distance; and advanced
Flighted Technology that produces variable ball trajectories
for different clubs within a single set.
For more than 80 years, many of golf’s greatest players
have trusted Royal Precision to provide Tour-quality shafts.
As America’s leading premium steel shaft manufacturer,
Royal Precision possesses a unique heritage in golf, and
Royal Precision products have won every major U.S. championship,
every major on the Senior and LPGA Tours, multiple Vardon
Trophies, Player of the Year titles on every tour, and
nine of the last of the 10 Orders of Merit. |
