TORRINGTON, Conn. — Chalking
up its 29th win of 2005, premium Rifle steel shafts dominated
this weekend’s Deutsche Bank Championship held at
the Tournament Players Club of Boston by winning first-
and second-place. This year’s champion played Rifle
steel shafts in his irons to shoot a 4-under 67 on Monday
to win the New England classic, while the tournament’s
sole runner-up also distanced himself from the pack with
Rifle shafts. By locking up the two highest money positions,
the two Rifle players garnered more than $1.5 million in
winnings.
