TORRINGTON, Conn. — After
three days of play at this weekend's Presidents Cup, the
United States and International teams were tied until two
U.S. players — both using Rifle steel shafts — broke
the deadlock by going 2-0 on Saturday. Then, during the
Sunday Singles matches, premium Rifle steel shafts once
again made the winning difference and lifted the U.S. team
to a dramatic victory at the 2005 Presidents Cup.
Nine of the 24 overall competitors played Rifle shafts,
with most of those players winning their respective matches.
In fact, Rifle players won or halved five out of six singles
matches.
"From the course venue to the players and the equipment
in their bags, this year's Presidents Cup was fantastic
exhibition of excellence in golf," says John Lauchnor,
president and CEO of Royal Precision. "It's no secret
that three of the Top Five ranked golfers in the world
play Rifle steel shafts and for good reason. For more than
80 years, Royal Precision has produced the most technologically
advanced steel shafts in golf, and the Rifle stepless design
and patented internal rifling are two reasons why Rifle
is the golf industry's leader in premium steel shafts.
Other steel shaft manufacturers may try to duplicate some
of the features of our products, but in the end, there's
only one Rifle."
Many steel shaft manufacturers still depend upon old 30-year-old
stepped shaft designs. However, Rifle steel shafts are
often considered the world's most advanced steel shaft
because the shaft design incorporates four unique technologies
which provide unparalleled performance and consistency.
Only Rifle steel shafts offer: Frequency Matching that
perfectly matches a set of clubs through electronic calibration;
Stepless Design Technology that eliminates the energy-robbing
steps' found on most other steel shafts, and provides greater
accuracy and a smooth, yet solid, feel at impact;
Patented Internal Rifling' that transfers energy more
efficiently, reduces vibration and increases distance;
and advanced Flighted Technology that produces variable
ball trajectories for different clubs within a single set.
Featuring 24 of the world's best golfers, the Presidents
Cup showcased consistency and accuracy on the world stage. |
